Project Snapshot
Org: Gimga Design Group (in house and agency environment), various clients
Deliverables: Branded PowerPoint templates, slide layout systems, icon and graphic elements, chart and map slide styles
Outputs: Editable PPTX files, presentation ready exports as needed, packaged asset handoff
Tools: PowerPoint, Illustrator, Photoshop
Workflow: Template system planning, master slide setup, brand compliance, version control, QA for clean handoff
These templates were designed to help teams present information clearly while staying on brand. Each system included a cohesive set of slide types such as title, agenda, section divider, content, data visualization, and image led layouts. The goal was to make it easy for users to build new decks quickly without breaking spacing, hierarchy, or visual consistency.
Role
Senior Graphic Designer (Gimga Design Group). Built the template systems, designed slide layouts, and delivered clean, reusable files that teams could update confidently.
Focus
Consistent branded slide systems that scale across topics
Readable hierarchy for content heavy and data heavy slides
Reusable layout modules that reduce manual formatting
Clean, editable files built for everyday use
Organized delivery packages and reliable handoff
Strategy & Concept
A strong PowerPoint template should behave like a design system. The strategy was to define rules for typography, spacing, and components, then apply those rules across a complete set of slide types. That system approach keeps decks looking consistent even when multiple people are editing the file or content changes late in the process.
System Breakdown
Layout system
Created a repeatable set of slide layouts with consistent spacing, grid structure, and safe areas
Built core slide types such as title, agenda, section divider, content, and closing layouts
Typography and hierarchy
Standardized title, subtitle, body, and callout styles to keep content readable and consistent
Set style rules that help teams maintain hierarchy without manual formatting
Data and visuals
Established patterns for charts, maps, timelines, and stat callouts so data slides stay on brand
Designed reusable graphic elements and icon treatments that work across decks
Template usability
Set up master slides and placeholders for faster editing and fewer formatting errors
Organized files for handoff with clear naming and export ready outputs when needed
Outcome & Reflection
The final templates gave teams a dependable foundation for building presentations faster while maintaining a consistent, professional look across decks.
A good template makes it easier for everyone who touches the file.
